Each has been chosen for their qualifications and experience, and especially for their love of teaching young people.

Daniel Nevarez
Sports Medicine

MS in Sports Management, Florida International University, Miami, Florida, BS in Athletic Training, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.

Daniel is an experienced professional with a Master’s Degree in Physical Education/Sports Management emphasis. With a background in athletic training and 15+ years of experience in the field, he founded his own consulting company, ATC Sports Medicine, which provides injury prevention training, injury recovery training, performance enhancement training, and other sports medicine consulting services.

Taylor Sardoni
Screenwriting

MFA in Screenwriting, Columbia University, New York City, BFA in Film/TV Production, New York University

Taylor graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film/TV Production and minoring in Producing and received his MFA in screenwriting/TV writing from Columbia University. Taylor won the West Field Screenwriting Award for Comedy in 2014 and was nominated for a Humanitas Prize in 2015. Recently, he optioned five feature-length scripts with various companies and had two different screenplays take part in the NOLA Horror Film Festival, Fright Night Film Fest and Oaxaca Film Festival. Taylor has taught screenwriting, directing and producing classes at art schools throughout the U.S. and has lectured worldwide.

Elia Urquiza
Filmmaking

Elia is a professional writer, producer, and documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Elia has worked with Orbita Max, the first Spanish production company to ever shoot in IMAX format; and with various Spanish and American companies as a Production Coordinator. Elia arrived in America as the winner of the La Caixa Fellowship for Graduate Studies. Elia teaches courses and masterclasses in filmmaking and screenwriting at the California Institute of the Arts.

Lisa Vangellow
Movie Business

BS Arizona State University, MFA University of California, Los Angeles

Lisa is a Los Angeles-based producer and director with a penchant for character-driven narratives and documentaries. She is currently in post-production for her documentary on the multi-faceted actor James Franco, and was one of five filmmakers invited to participate in the Tribeca Film Institute Documentary Story Lab.
