Oxbridge in Salamanca is a full language immersion program for students with two or more years of Spanish who aspire to achieve native fluency.
Oxbridge in Salamanca takes place in Colegio Mayor Fray Luis de León, the only Universidad de Salamanca residence located within the Old City, a beautiful university town that was the birthplace of Spanish language study and teaching, and which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Our students are taught by local university teachers and artists. They choose two courses—a Major and a Minor—which are taught entirely in Spanish. The courses on offer include topics as varied as Culturas hispánicas, Cultura y cocina, or Relaciones internacionales. Our interactive courses, coupled with a full calendar of activities - including excursions to Madrid and Segovia - enable our students to live like locals for a month, fully immersing them in Spanish language and culture.
