What is required to apply?

Personal Statement and Language Sample (for Immersion Courses Only)

A personal statement is a short essay of approximately 500 words to help us get to know your child. Have them tell us about why they would like to attend, what interests them about the Major and Minor/Workshop courses, and what they will contribute to the study abroad program. Let us know about their academic and extracurricular activities or interests and anything else that will help us to get to know them. We additionally request students provide their current, unweighted grade point average (GPA) as part of their personal statement. For students electing language immersion courses in France or Spain, an additional 500-word statement in French or Spanish is additionally required. This statement should outline their interest in furthering their language skills and what they hope to gain from their Oxbridge experience.

Teacher Reference

All applicants are asked to submit the name and contact details of a teacher or counselor who can speak knowledgeably about them. For students applying for language immersion courses in France or Spain, we ask that they provide the information for their language teacher.

Deposit

Applications require a deposit of $500 US to be marked as complete. This is deducted from the total tuition upon acceptance and is refunded in full if the student is not accepted.

Admission Department Review

Our Oxbridge Office of Admissions carefully reviews each completed application and contacts students in the order in which they've applied. • Course Selections: Students should preference their top three Major and Minor/Workshop courses, as applicable, in their student portal.
