Employment | Administrators

Program Deans:

Deans are responsible for the disciplinary life of each program and assist with a program's administration. Successful candidates are teachers from the US or Canada with extensive experience of the age groups involved. Successful applicants receive flights to the UK, France, or Spain, as well as accommodation in our residence and breakfast and dinner each day.

Program Administrators:

We would like to hear from undergraduates, currently reading for degrees in Oxford, Cambridge, Paris, Montpellier or Barcelona, whose superb character, excellent humor, sense of camaraderie and infectious enthusiasm will make them excellent program administrators. Successful applicants receive accommodation in our residence and breakfast and dinner each day.

These administrative posts include:

Program Assistants

Undergraduate or young graduate students who would like to join the administrative teams responsible for running each program with the Director and Deans.

Activities Directors

Undergraduate or graduate students who would like to be responsible for organizing and running the social, cultural and sporting program of events for students on each program; activities staff often work in small teams to design, organize and run an Activities Program which is an integral part of each students' educational experience AND enjoyment. An excellent knowledge of the program’s city and local environment is necessary.

Some Details

Program Deans, Program Assistants, and Activities Directors work six days per week, starting one week before any students arrive for preparation. Most administrative life is centered around a Program Office, in which Deans and Program Assistants work shifts. Administrative staff assist with many areas of program life, including student supervision, field trips, and residential liaison. All those applying to work in France or Spain should be bilingual. Further details will be sent in response to an application.
