La Escuela Preparatoria de Barcelona is an academic program for students in grades 8-9 held in Collegi Major Sant Jordi, one of the most sought-after university residences in Barcelona, Spain. There are ten courses available, including courses in English, such as Creative Writing, Marine Biology, and Spain and the Literary World, and in Spanish, such as Spanish Language, Barcelona: Taller literario, and Barcelona y las artes.
The international faculty includes scholars and academics, as well as creative professionals – artists and writers – from Barcelona and elsewhere. Together with program administrators, including Program Deans and Activities Directors, students enjoy a daily schedule that combines intellectual and curricular adventure, cultural enrichment, field trips, guest speakers, activities and sports – all in a safe, supervised environment.
