All of our courses are designed to introduce students not only to new subjects and skills, but to proved and successful pedagogical methods and traditions. Our philosophy is to put students in small classes to study exciting and engaging courses with lively and imaginative teachers.
Our teachers are top academics from Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, the Sorbonne, and the Universities of Barcelona and Montpellier as well as talented creative professionals from all over the world – all selected for their passion for teaching, their experience, their qualifications, and their ability to inspire our students.
Our classes are structured around active learning, immersive approaches to course topics, applied theory and practice, and hands-on experience of the subject itself. This means that each great city is at the heart of the subjects we offer there. Students may visit breathtaking museums and galleries; explore ancient colleges and libraries; enjoy renowned examples of architectural invention and cultural opportunity; discover parks and gardens and open spaces – all as part of their courses of study. To make the experience even more meaningful and memorable, each course culminates in a final project, a shared presentation or portfolio work, a performance piece, or a staged exhibition.
