Summer 2016 in Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews, Paris, Montpellier, Barcelona, Salamanca, New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.

We are soliciting applications for Summer 2016. We look for dynamic, highly-motivated team-players who can help create and run enjoyable and exciting programs for 8th through 12th grade students (13-18 years old).  Each summer we hire teachers to design and teach our courses, as well as administrators who serve as Program Deans, Program Assistants and Activities Directors. We invite applications throughout the year. Each year, we recruit for all our offered courses in case existing members of staff are unable to return.

Eligibility:

Programs in the United Kingdom, France, and Spain
  • If you are a graduate student, academic, or creative professional, and based in Europe, you are eligible to apply as a Teacher or Study Group Leader on our UK and continental programs.
  • If you are a Middle or High School educator in North America, or anywhere in the world, you are eligible to apply as a Program Dean.
  • If you are an undergraduate or recent graduate, and based in Europe, you are eligible to apply as a Program Assistant or Activities Director.

Programs in the United States
  • If you are a graduate student, academic, or creative professional, and based in the New York, Los Angeles, or Boston areas, you are eligible to apply as a Teacher respectively on the New York College Experience, Oxbridge at UCLA, and The College Experience in Boston, respectively.
  • If you are a Middle or High School educator in North America, or anywhere in the world, you are eligible to apply as a Program Dean.
  • If you are an undergraduate or recent graduate, and based in the New York, Los Angeles, or Boston areas, you are eligible to apply as a Program Assistant or Activities Director on the New York College Experience, Oxbridge at UCLA, and The College Experience in Boston, respectively.

Recruitment Timetable:
Program Deans are shortlisted from late-December onwards. Our first round of interviews for decanal posts in the United Kingdom takes place in January, and appointments are made from March. Candidates short listed for positions in France, Spain, and New York are contacted later in February and March. 

The deadline for our first round of short listing for teaching and administrative positions (Program Assistants, Activities Directors) in the UKis February 1, 2016, but applications are always welcome. At this time, teaching staff, Program Assistants and Activities Directors for our programs in the UK are shortlisted for interview in late February and early March. Interviews take place on-site in Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews, or via telephone, and successful candidates are appointed shortly thereafter – in April.

Teachers, Program Assistants and Activities Directors for our programs in France or Spain are shortlisted in late March. Interviews take place on-site in Paris, Montpellier, Salamanca and Barcelona in April, or via telephone, and appointments are made soon thereafter. 

Teachers, Program Assistants and Activities Directors for our programs in New York and Los Angeles are shortlisted for interview as needed, on a rolling basis, from February onwards. Interviews take place either in New York and Los Angeles, or via telephone, with appointments made shortly after interview.

Due to some courses and positions becoming available after our first rounds of shortlisting, we invite applications throughout the year. We continue recruiting faculty and staff until all our vacancies are filled. It's always worth applying.
