"Studying for a month abroad in Paris was an extremely good experience not only for learning how to live on my own in a dorm community but also to learn how a different culture is and how to adjust to it."

-Académie de Paris attendee

"Oxford is an amazing setting. It is such a beautiful place to live and study, and the students are much more diverse than at home. I would have never thought that some of my best friends would be from Singapore or Australia or Turkey."
-Oxford Tradition attendee

"I have loved my time here and the friends I've made! This summer has absolutely changed my life and has made a huge improvement on my language skills."
-Academia de España attendee

"Studying with Oxbridge definitely forced me out of my shell, which in turn allowed me to pursue extracurricular activities as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego, including serving in student government and as a Resident Assistant, as well as reporting for a local newspaper. Without those experiences, partially made possible by the welcoming and supportive environment at Oxbridge, I wouldn’t be at Johns Hopkins University for graduate school."
-Oxford Tradition attendee

"The program was the best experience of my life. I will never forget the things I learned and the friends I made. Oxbridge helped me to be more open to other cultures. Now, I feel like I want to learn other languages because many people know how to speak many languages. My respect for cultures has increased significantly."
-Oxford Tradition attendee

"The atmosphere was friendly and the variety of activities was great. Oxford was so inspiring that schoolwork didn’t feel like work at all."
-Oxford Tradition attendee

"I have never come so close to so many people in such a short period of time. Back home I feel like I never fit in, I’m the shy one and here it’s all different. This program has brought out the best in me and brought me in contact with people I will talk to forever and consider my sisters. I never want to go back I love it here."
-Cambridge Tradition attendee

"I go to a public school in the middle of Indiana where everywhere you go there’s a lack of diversity. Coming to a place like this was about as different as I could get and I love it."
-Cambridge Prep attendee

Academic Life and Development

"I never studied economics or business in school, so this has been a great course. New York allowed us to visit banks such as Citibank and the NY Fed to learn on-site how the banking system works. That would never have been a possibility from where I live."
- New York College Experience attendee

"I have learned more French in my one month in Paris than during the two years I studied French back at home."
- Académie de Paris attendee

"The lectures don't feel like lectures -- they feel like conversations. I learned far more than I expected."
- New York College Experience attendee

"The teachers make the difference in everything. They are all so passionate about their subjects and it shows in the students. In my own course I confirmed my love for the biological sciences and intentions to study medicine at university."
- Oxford Tradition attendee

"I liked how each day covered a new topic or offered a new perspective. There was always a sense of freshness to the course and that is due to our instructors."
-Oxbridge at UCLA attendee

"My major course on The Oxford Tradition was Molecular Medicine, and I am currently beginning my 4th year of Medical School and planning to be a surgeon. My Oxbridge experience was key in helping me decide whether or not I should go to Medical School. My teachers empowered me in a beautiful way, making me reach beyond my limits; in class we were constantly challenging each other. The Oxbridge experience has opened doors I could never have imagined, and the people I met in Oxford have a special place in my heart."
- Oxford Tradition attendee

"I see a strong connection between my Oxbridge experience and college. I used my interest in journalism to help build a strong resume for college, and the program definitely helped me do that. Not only was I accepted to my dream school, I was also invited to participate in their first year of the 'Fast Track Journalism Program' where they allow freshman to begin classes in the JOMC school two or three years early based on their journalism experience in high school. I have nothing but good things to say about my Oxbridge experience – It opened so many doors!"
- Oxford Tradition attendee, now at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

"I wanted to be in a supportive class where I could improve my writing and find new inspiration. I never dreamed the course would be so amazing. Our Creative Writing class became a family. My peers helped me improve my pieces. We supported each other."

"Oxford is perfect. The Oxford Tradition is rigorous and fulfilling in every respect."

"There is no comparison. From the teachers to the students, Oxford is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Classes were engaging and fun, teachers were understanding and helpful, and the students were some of the best people I have ever met. Oxford is certainly a place I will never forget."
- Oxford Tradition attendee

"I don’t know how I can go back to traditional academics after my experience on the program. I’ve been spoiled. There is so much out there!"
- Oxford Tradition attendee

"Words cannot describe the amount of passion and effort the teachers put into our classes. I wish all teachers were this dedicated."

- Oxford Tradition attendee

"At home school feels like an obligation, on the program it’s a privilege."
- Cambridge Prep attendee

"My Creative Writing class at Cambridge was the first time I had a class that allowed me to focus on my poetry. I was greatly encouraged by our instructor, Michael Sofranko, and went on to win many national and high school awards for my writing including the Howard Nemerov Award from Washington University in St. Louis and Karolyn Kizer award from the Seattle Review. I was selected by the English Department at my high school to attend The Breadloaf Young Writers conference, and I went to University of Iowa's summer writing institute as well as the New York State Young Writers Institute. This all started in Cambridge."
- Cambridge Tradition attendee, now at the University of Pennsylvania

"My interest in politics has not waned. I think the greatest part of the program was further feeding my interests and creating a network of students who are scattered across the country. Some of my best friends have come from the people I met on The Cambridge Tradition and I think it is amazing that I find myself talking to my roommates at college about that summer in Cambridge. I plan to major in government and continue my creative writing well beyond my college years."
- Cambridge Tradition attendee, now at Harvard

"My dream of becoming a pediatric neurologist was unbelievably fostered by my professors on The Cambridge Tradition. I am still in contact with one of my instructors who continues to keep me up-to-date with the happenings in the medical world. As far as helping me in college, I took a course in Biopsychology this past semester and was one of only two students to receive an 'A' in the course. I absolutely attribute my success in that course (as well as my success in my major) to the knowledge I gained from the Medicine and the Brain course on The Cambridge Tradition. Additionally, the program helped me realize through that the most important part of college is not what information is gained in the classroom but rather the relationships I foster with those around me."
- Cambridge Tradition attendee, now at Hastings College

"The Politics course changed my life and helped me realize what I want to do in the future."
- Cambridge Tradition attendee

"I fell in love with studying abroad and the English tutorial system."
- Cambridge Tradition attendee

"I studied European History and Politics while in Paris with Oxbridge. The experience established my desire to study Politics at university. The program also helped me during my senior year. I attribute my fantastic grades in European History to Oxbridge."
- Académie de Paris attendee

"La Academia de España is where I fell in love with the Spanish-speaking world and got comfortable in a second-language environment. I also really got my bearings on traveling and exploring on my own."
- Academia de España attendee

"My Oxbridge experience was transformative in that it taught me to value my skills with languages and writing as more than simply gifts, but gateways to an academic career. Additionally, being immersed in the everyday life of a new city taught me invaluable adaptation skills and allowed me to exercise independence in a safe space – excellent preparation for college life."
- Academia de España attendee

"My drama class at Oxford taught me the foundations of so many techniques of acting and completely redefined my knowledge and enjoyment of Shakespeare, leading me only further into the world of performing and writing. My creative writing class in Spain strengthened my storytelling abilities in both prose and poetry and inspired me to continue forth in those as well as expand into plays and screenplays. I also attribute Oxbridge with my comfort living away from home and making new friends as well as taking advantage of every opportunity that college and life present. The idea that ‘life could be like this’ inspires me daily."
- Academia de España attendee and Oxford Tradition attendee, now at NYU

"The program was a truly transformative experience for our daughter. Not only for what she learned academically, but for the sense of confidence it helped to bolster. She knows and we know that she can thrive in a collegiate setting."

- Parent of an Oxford Tradition Attendee

"As a parent, I feel so fulfilled having made such a great investment in my child's life."

- Parent of an Oxford Tradition Attendee

"The program was a superb opportunity for our daughter to step outside of her comfort zone and immerse herself in an intensive cultural and educational experience. I could not be happier that she participated."

- Parent of an Oxford Tradition Attendee

"This program is an essential, once in a lifetime experience for any young teen. The program challenges students to continue learning at an advanced level."

- Parent of a Cambridge Prep attendee

"One thing that strikes me as unique and on spot is that the Cambridge Prep was designed for 8th and 9th graders. It was the perfect cohort for our brainy 9th grader. In our small rural school and area, our daughter has had limited opportunities to develop friendships with kids in her own age group who also share her interests. At Cambridge, she learned that she is not alone. I think she has made friends that may last a lifetime."

- Parent of a Cambridge Prep attendee

"I am very thankful that such a program is available. It was an awesome experience for our daughter. I was thrilled with the follow up packet, which included a detailed description of everything that took place in the courses, grades, and detailed comments and feedback on performance."

- Parent of a Cambridge Tradition attendee

"The quality of the teachers was even higher than we expected."

- Parent of a Cambridge Tradition attendee

"I thought the balance of independence and supervision was excellent. This is a wonderful opportunity for both academic and personal growth. The academic caliber surpasses what I have observed with other programs."

- Parent of an Académie de Paris attendee

"The Oxbridge Program is a phenomenal opportunity to enjoy experiences beyond those provided during the traditional school term. It’s a necessary direct glimpse for any student who is serious about broadening his/her global perspective."

- Parent of an Academia de Barcelona attendee

"Needless to say, our son had the time of his life. Not only did he participate in highly engaging, educational courses, but he also fostered lasting friendships with students from all over the world during his month stay. One idea that our son took away from this experience is that people from all walks of life with diverse cultural backgrounds have certain commonalities that bind them together as friends. If only the rest of the world could see the good in each other as these teens saw in each other. As a parent, I would recommend the Oxbridge Summer Program to other parents and students looking for an enriching and unforgettable experience in their lives."

- Parent of a New York College Experience attendee

"We are very happy that we sent our daughter to New York. The Oxbridge programs are comprehensive and give excellent exposure to the student, ensuring all-round development."
